An AI companion
Matthew is not a person, priest, therapist or emergency service. It can make mistakes, including about Scripture. Use your own judgment and check important information. A conversation is not sacramental confession or confidential professional care. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Audio and service providers
Starting a call enables your microphone after your device grants permission. LiveKit transports the conversation and OpenAI processes audio and generates responses. Their services are necessary to provide this feature. Sacred does not enable audio recordings of these calls. Processing by providers is subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
Memory and conversation continuity
Sacred processes conversation text and stores remembered details and summaries to personalize future conversations. For example, Matthew can remember the name you share. Recent conversation text can be stored temporarily for continuity and summarization. Avoid sharing passwords, payment information or other sensitive details you do not want processed.
Your choices
You can stop the call or mute your microphone at any time. You can ask Matthew to forget a specific detail or its stored memory. Wait for confirmation; if an operation fails, contact hi@thesacredapp.com for help. Deleting memory does not remove technical usage records needed to operate the service.
Availability and usage
This is an experimental feature. Availability, duration limits and simultaneous capacity may change. Sacred records usage and technical errors, including call duration and connection failures, to operate and improve the feature. Accepting this notice does not guarantee availability or start a paid purchase.
